What does the Kubernetes cordon command do to a node?
- A Deletes the node
- B Marks the node as unschedulable for new pods without evicting existing ones (correct answer)
- C Upgrades the node OS image
- D Drains all pods and terminates the node
Shortcut: kubectl cordon marks a node as unschedulable. Existing pods continue running; new pods will not be scheduled to that node. Use drain to also evict existing pods.
